Love mine too!
John
I'm on the fence. There are so many nice ones available. Would you mine to post a picture or two.
Caysea
Your a newb, BUT please post some pics for those that would love to see.:)
CaySea,
+1 :)
Mr Miller's strops are truly superb :)
Have fun :)
Best regards
Russ
I was going to say ......... what strop ? I hear you but I don't see any strop ........
Where do you buy these???
Directly from Neil Miller.
You won't be sorry!
Vintage Straight Razor Sales & Restorations, Hand Made Strops, UK Razor Honing and Vintage Hone Stones
You can contact Neil directly through the PM system for inquiries. He is truly a gentleman and craftsman, if you order from him you will see why others are judged off his craftsmanship.
While I may be a "newb" on this board, I have been involved with quite a few fishing forums and the general attitudes are similar. In any event I am posting a pic for the sake of the heavy posters who need to see something to believe it. :p As I said before, Neil is a true craftsman and pictures do not really do this justice.

In that case, aren't you supposed to hold the strop near the camera with you in the background to make the strop look HUGE? ;)

Just kidding. You've got a quality strop from a quality gent.
ENJOY!!
Don't be put off by our demand to see pics, Caysea! We have a phenomena on this forum of strange 'Neil Miller Trolls' Who profess to have a strop by him and sadly, do not! It is called the 'Inadequate Strop Denial Syndrome', or ISDS.
Pictures are naturally, required. Otherwise, extensive testing and therapy are necessary!
Seriously, Nice strop. Thanks for the pics! Oh! "Newbs" are a good thing around here. We get to see different stuff!
Regards,
Tom
I need to get off my wallet and order me one of them thar strop thingies from Neil. Use it in good health.
A proper strop indeed! A lovely thing.
Try holding either of these like that.

Thanks to Wullie, this has gone way off topic. I would like to see either of you strop or shave with those catches.
Some of us are born with unique talents that should be shared.
Thread wrecks are just of my many talents.

Actually it is related. When I cured out the bills, I was seriously considering using them to strop with. In that it seemed like Neil really needed the $$ I decided to buy from him. :-) Took the bill and sanded it down and my daughter painted it. It is on a shelf in my office.
Welcome CaySea: A beautiful catch on display there. Congratulations: If you continue to bless us with your presence. You'll learn this forum is not a macho "mano-a-mano forum. We just enjoy congratulating each other on their accomplishments and "Quest Finding Their Holy Grailsl".
Nah, I see that as a reason for Neil to pound his chest. I just was willing to spend some money.
Sooooory, Neil. Not having met you in person, I did not realize this pic on last Christmas card from you was indeed NOT you!

Pray tell, who could it be?? :)
By that token, the ma-in-law's mother must have been worse. I was a company director at the time I first met her, new car every year, lots of money. She was convinced it was all a show, just to impress her. I impressed her, all right - waxed the leather rear seat of the car before lending it to my girl-friend (now wife) to pick her up. The wife drives like a bat out of hell and the poor old biddy went sliding from one side of the seat to the other. HAR!
I was reproached very stiffly, obviously. I had to go to bingo (a game invented especially for old biddies in my estimation) with the gf and her gran to make up. I had a couple of beers and made a point of smiling at her - couldn't talk, because you had to be silent for the two hour duration of the 'fun' we were having.
Turns out she branded me an alcoholic and drug taker for 'leering, at her. I went back on the offensive after that. Drug-taker, indeed!
Regards,
Neil
I like your style. If I had been smart I would have divorced sooner, based on m-in-l because chip off the old block does hold true at times. At any rate, glad I did stick it out till three great kids that are a comfort to me. Ask them about their mother and they all will reply, "She's not my mother, she's yours and your other sibling."
Sigh.......I Know what you mean, Gents. I know quite well! :( BTW, noice work on that strop, Neil! It's a beaut! :tu

Bruce
